The real truth ministries is a 501(c)(3) charity organization dedicated to proactively fighting against abuse through sexual Assault care trainings, free resources, and survivor support.
you're invited to our summer events:
What do we do?Our goal is to educate and equip the Body of Christ with trauma informed and theologically rich education.
We provide free, faith-based Sexual Assault Care Trainings for pastors, leaders, parents, and communities to learn to properly care for survivors with the loving arms of Jesus. We also provide other free trainings and resources to proactively fight against abuse in our communities. In addition, we provide survivor support. A secular, non-faith based alternative is available for all trainings we offer. We believe understanding trauma and a deep conviction for Biblical truth are key to making positive waves of change that protect survivors and stop abuse in our communities. We desire to faithfully follow Jesus, protect the vulnerable, care for the hurting, and make the Body of Christ more like Jesus. |
Why do what we do?Every 68 seconds, an American is sexually assaulted. 1
The vast majority of sexual assault victims are young women and children. 2 As the Body of Christ, the global Church, we have a responsibility to care for the vulnerable, hurting, and overlooked. As people who seek to faithfully follow Jesus, it's our duty to protect and care for the hurting. We believe the Church is capable of becoming a safe place for those who need refuge and a protector to work against the evil of abuse in our communities. 1. Matthew 25:37-40
""then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’"
